Generals Looking to Add Skill to an Impressive Lineup

by TJ Runhart

The Seaforth Generals are still looking to add some skilled forwards to an already dominate line up.

The Generals have returning league MVP Goalie Spencer Redmond. The 18 year old Saginaw, MI native will enter his 3rd season in the Green and Orange. The Generals have also signed Severn, Maryland's Xander Sears. Xander played last season for Metro Maple Leafs and the for Chessie High.

The blue line for '18-'19 will see some familiar names- returning for his 3rd tour of a duty is Summer Beaver Ontario's Jeremiah Sofea. The 20 year old is a steady reliable d-man who brings an offensive side to the blue line.

The Generals also want to welcome brothers Avery and Adam Albert. Avery was the first ever General signed before our inaugural season, last year he played for the Superior Rough Riders in the WSHL. Joining Avery in a Generals jersey this season will be his 18 year old brother Adam. Adam comes to the Generals after spending last season as a member of the Ralston Valley High School team as well as a member of the Superior Rough Riders.

Another key member of the Gens Blueline that is returning is Travis Sloan. The Holmesville, On native brings his gritty play back to the Generals. Sloany is never one to shy away from a corner or a hit. Last season Travis joined the Generals and made an immediate impact on not only the Generals but the whole league.

Up front the Generals want to welcome back Jared Searles. Jared spent the majority of last season playing defense for the Generals. The 16 year old (last season) was a humble addition to the Generals, his versility was a big help for us. This year the plan is to use Jared exclusively as a forward.

Another forward who has signed with the Generals in Nathanial Sission. The East New Market, Maryland native comes to the Gens after spending last season as a member of the Tri City Hawks in the USPHL.
